Okay, I understand that they are considered "not so good." And you're payin' for flash.

But quality wise, what are the drawbacks of audiobahn. No SQ? just get "loud?"

Qualitywise, it's just a crappy product. Overrated, overhyped, lack of durability, poor craftsmanship. I don't know how it got as much hype as it did. I'd put it about on the same level as Boss.

Not saying that their stuff doesn't work. I know lots of people who have run Audiobahn amps for a long time, and they handle themselves well. They just don't approach their ratings, and if misused, will explode pretty easily.

And they make the microwave.

Yeah, i'm apart of a prelude club here in texas and theres a kid who is like "my life is car audio, i'm getting 2 1000watt audiobahn subs and ID comps." Iwanna tell him he's crazy but I have yet to get a objective argument towards it. What the heck is the microwave, that thing looks like it pumps the jiggawatts. Above all else it lives up to audioblings rep with them cool blue lights!

Wow I just saw, it's a giant "amp" lol.

That's impressiveish.

I guess my problem is all the high school hero rice racers in my group, they know their honda's but they don't understand what makes car audio good. That's what comes with living in the south-mid-west. We get passed by on the good brands, cause all we have is best buy and car toys.
