Audiobanh n a Stang Possible?

hey everyone, im new to this forum and i just found some time to finally put my system in my trunk. i have a 96 gt with the MACH 460 sound system already in the back which came stock with the car. i am currently holding 2 AUDIOBAHN Awt12x, and was wondering what the sq. in of the back of the trunk is. i know i am goin to have to make these boxes ported but how do i know the correct port length, how do i figure this out? there goin to be run by 2 AUDIOBAHN A1200HCT amplifiers and a 5 farad rockford fosgate capasitor.

is this possible the subs are huge and im workin with very limited space seeings how the mach system is still in the car. anyone with a mustang build themselves a custom box? if so any pictures? any comments/suggestions/pictures are welcome! thanks

cardomain.com is your friend for finding setup ideas... although im sure your system will pound ur likely to get flamed for using all audiobahn equipment (audiobahn = flea market crap)

also you could always go sealed if theres not enough room for ported

32" Wide 28" Deep 12'5" tall with a 6" wide port tuned to 34hz should be great. Fire it forwards and to get the box in you'll have to unbolt the vinyl covered foamy thing above the back seats, then unbolt the frame around the trunk opening fold it all the way down on the seats AND take out the plastic mach 460 enclosure. put the speakers back in the rear deck and make sure you run a HPF on them until you can get some components. And trust me its worth the work. I had two RE sexxx's setup like this except tuned to 30hz and it was rediculously loud for what it was. I hit a 140 on the TL with only 300 watts. Ask NGSM13 undercoverpunk and timb2169 about it.

you have to pull out all the factory mach system amps and that huge tray that hangs down in the trunk to get a larger box to fit. also you will be able to get the box to fit all the way in the back of the trunk like it should.

garuntee you very SQ, efficeny, and louder bass is yo ditch those amps and get something better....audiobahn makes some of the worst amps i have ever dealt with. not only because they ****, but also because they're whorrrrishly overpriced.did i mention they **** too?

So i take it you have built a box for a stang b4. so your telling me to remove the mach 460 system from the back of the trunk along with the amps and build the box from there. afterwards put the 6x9s back into the rear of the car and run a HPF??? and about tuning the speakers to a certain hz how xactly is this done? doesnt he size of the port have to be a certain length n width? im new to this kinda stuff and id rather do it all myself than bringing it to a shop where they will charge me a Grand plus for there work. comment pleasee
