I really dont believe ur shiity hifonics can outperform Rs.

Give them 1000-1200wrms and I don't think anything could beat them for the price.

Anyone/everyone will agree with me.

2 new type rs = ~270

i paid 150 for my 2 new brutus

as far as "For the money", i am getting 2 good condition subs and 2 good condition motors for around $175. if you are gonna sell me 2 good type r 15s and 2 good motors for $150 Ill buy them, otherwise STFU.

Old Audiobahn wasnt as bad as new Audiobahn. They werent all about the chrome. After some research I've found some good info and people have put into the 150s with them.

How much box space should i give them? I would like to do about 6.5cuft but can go bigger. What do you guys think?

I have the old Audiobahn manual somewhere. I'll see if I can find it. Also, early Audiobahn subs, ie the 1505's weren't bad at all. They weren't "low end" monsters but they were loud, and to the dismay of many, didn't sound that bad either.

The 1505s call for a smallish box, about 3.2cuft@36hz. I tried 4cuft@34hz, and the 3.2 was louder to the ear.

thats good. i have an old box that is 6.5cuft tuned to 34hz so ill try that and see how it sounds

picked up the subs today. paid him $150 for all 4. all the coils checked out. no bad noises, just loud ones

The surrounds werent too bad either. A little tear in one and a pin hole in the other. Looks like im gonna need some new amps. lol
