lots of places take well over a month to "warranty" product when i worked retail 6 weeks wasn't out of the norm.

I've either been very lucky or just simply spoiled b/c a 6 week turnaround on warranty repair/replacement is so far beyond reasonable to me I'd be fuming mad after a month had passed - much less longer. The last piece of car audio gear I had to have repaired under warranty was a Kenwood KDC-X569 that I sold to a friend when I bought the X679 I use now. The 569 quit reading CDs not long after I sold it but was still within the two-year Kenwood warranty. It had been purchased originally from Crutchfield so I called 'em up, got an RMA #, stuck it in a box and sent it to them (and they picked up the tab on the shipping both ways). Less than two weeks later it arrived in working order on my doorstep.

My bahn amp has done me great. No problem with it at all. Was even able to handle a 1 ohm load with now show of a problem. Tough little amp if ya ask me, now if it wasn't pure crome........

talking speakers and amps when probably more than half of the issues are more user "error" than anything

its not flamed due to its service or quality control reputation, it is flamed because and the subs have bad SQ. these are two VERY different things.

that pretty much sums it up. most of us dont own audiobahn equipment cuz everyone here badmouths it, so we cant really file a complaint on equipment we dont own. it would be retarded to write to the BBB cuz they have bad SQ lol.

Its not rated at 1 ohm stable, but i ran mine at 1.67 for 2 years, i finally had to retire it for new equipment but it ran like a champ until the day i unhooked it.
