If your looking for a cheap amp, just go with a kenwood or a refurbished MTX.

4 Months old, owell. I'll say this much. I have a Bahn 8000T. I'm running it at 1 ohm for a little over a week now, no problems. Its rated 800@2ohms so i'm not sure exactly how much power i'm getting but either way. Its holding its own at 1 ohm which deffenetly suprised me. Lot stronger amps them most ppl think.....

i had an A6004T powering my two kickers (i know, 4way to subs is a big no no) and it was rock solid in the few months i was using it.

besides having a tendency to overheat after 2 hours of abusive playing, it did quite well

i dont have anything against audiobahn's amps except the excessive bling and heat issues

def audiobahn...they make strong amps...maybe low wattage but you see what you get...unlike hifonics...

^ What is the problem w/ hifonics amps that put them on the level w/ audiobahn? I've heard a lot of rumors about them not making their rated power, but can anyone substantiate these? I'm using 2 hifonics amps in my setup now (sig) and I don't have any complaints

Audiobahn "high current amps" eat the chode. If u wanna pay $400 for some chrome that will heat up to the point where u can cook eggs on the top of then then plz go with th bahn. The Brutus ampsaccually put out what they are rated and are pretty solid for the money.

I also used to have 3 JL 12w3 (good choice my friend) and i ran them off of a Memphis 1000D. It not only SSLLLAMMMEEDDDD but was also clean as all hell. I hit like 145dB with the memphis amp and those subs in JL powerwedge box (sealed). look into a used 16-MC1000D, you'll get the musical accuracy that most amps cant do, and you'll hear the differance in a W3.

i was a previous audiobahn owner of 2 12's, amp and cap. now my new setup is kicker sub and hifonics amp. i really like my hifonics amp better than my audiobahn because 1) the audiobahn amp would overheat and go in protect mode (a8000t) in heated climates. 2) the 800watts i was giving my 2 12's cannot compare to my single kicker L5 running off 500watts (this proves audiobahn is overrated as fock IMO), and 3) my 2 audiobahn 12s (abp122t) were alright, but i would never look back into audiobahn subs. but maybe thats because i had the lower end model subs.

on the other hand, my buddy runs the audiobahn hi current amp (HCT120t) or something like that, its the 1600rms model. hes running that amp to 2 15" audiobahn alumq's in a ported box and it hits super hard, deep, and VERY loud. never over heats when he bumps it neither. there subs are leaning towards more of the SPL direction? so my conclusion is that, the low end audiobahn equipment = sucks but there higher end equipment may be worth the price tag and can make serious noise

i personally take hifonics amp > audiobahn amps though. due to bad expierence with my A8000T

That's kind of like comparing death by gunshot to the forehead or stabbing. They're both gonna ****.
Save some money, and buy an amp that won't be a boat anchor in a month.

Hifonics has some of the best amplifiers in the car audio market, don't put them down because they are affordable, i have experience with about half the top manufacturers of amplifiers on the market.

Hifonics amps are great for the money, has great features and isnt very hard on the electrical system. Ive heard also that many dont do there rated power, I had mine benched at CARTUNZ in Canada and it did its rated power at 14.4 volts at 1ohm. But some people wont agree or believe me. Anyways, I have never heard an abahn amp or had any personal experiences with it so I cant say anything bad about it.
