Audiobahn subs

First, no one on most forums like Audiobahn for some reason, guess they like small brand bandwagons as 99% of them has never even tried anything from them....Anyhow, if you want SQ and you want to stick with Audiobahn try the Alum series subs, they do very well.....Of the ones you listed, don't go with the eternal, will get loud, just not sound as good....But they do have points, there is plenty to be had if you look around, however Audiobahn is not the putrid pile of sh!t they are making them out to be. My self and some friends have used a-bahn gear for a while with no issues at all............

I view sq like I view wine and cigars. Sure, swishers aren't too bad at first, but smoke a couple cohibas (I have a cuban waitin for me on the table:) ) or another fine cigar, and swishers don't quite taste as good. Same thing with speakers and subs. Sure, abahn may sound good to you, but get used to listening to id or soundsplinter or aa or blah blah any other decent sub and suddenly abahn just don't cut it.

I have a pair of audiobahns and love them.. they are some older model 1200Q's but sound better than anything I've listened to in this area recently. especially in SQ.. now everyone will be like bahns and SQ?.. yes these bahns sound good in a sealed box.. I'm going for sq not for spl. so I say if you want some bahns get them... they have a newer model of the same ones I have but can't think of what they are.. 1200N I think. and I know someone who has a pair of them for sale if you want them.

Dont spend your money on Audiobahn, take it from me. I spent well over $2000 on Auidobahn equipment just to remove it 1 month later. I could never get it to sound right so I just removed it. I replaced my 2 12" Audiobahn with 3 10" Alpine Type R and it sounds a hell of a lot better. Audiobahn products look nice, that is the reason I bought it, but what is it worth if the sound sucks.

First of all, I KNOW the Type S can't touch the Eternal in SPL, or maybe even the other one for that matter, but it will come close and sound tons better, therefore Type S > Bahn.
Secondly, please point me in the direction of an authorized Alpine dealer where I can get a Type S for much less than $130. I've seen them for around $100 on Onlinecarstereo, but are they authorized?
go to ikesound.com type R's there are like 100-110 i think

Which one? The $130 one or the $299 one? For starters you can get an Alpine Type S for around $130 that whoops the Bahns. Then there's the 187's from IA, and so on.
And for $299 you can get some KICK-*** subs that make Bahns look like... Dual.

What he said above.

I have a 12 Alpine Type S.. never even opened if you decide to go that way... its a hell of alot better than the bahns

Don't have much experiance with the subs. But i found their amps are a good place to get some cheap power. Never had any problems with the amps and always put out close to their RMS.
