Hmmm....I dont know if an 8 cubic foot box is large enough to get some decent SQ from the kickers, and personally I dont like the SQ that much anyway...Id try going with 3 D2's, or 15A if it was possible to order em

the immortals are some **** loud subs, but from what I have read they are **** close to the DD 9500 d version

I think I have decided on those now...Plus if I don't like how they sound i dont have to worry about building a hole new box that isnt for squares...How much do they charge for the 15's? From what i've heard I think they would sound alot better then the l7's. Late

they are a lot better than the L7's. they run about 400 bones from RE. are you still talking about the 8 cubes for the XXX's as well? I would go with a bigger box than that if you are goin ported, sealed, that would be plenty.

the XXX is a lot more expensive and can take a lot more wattage than an L7... i would give either setup more than 8 cubes for 3 subs though.

it all depends on what you are looking for in your system.

**** only 400$ a piece for the 15"s? Thats cool...I want to get 3 but I want it to sound good and i'm not sure if I have enough room for a big enough box...I have a Grand Marguise so the trunk is pretty big, if it turns out there's not enough space then I will just get 2 of them...I'm sure it will still sound pretty good. So do I just call RE to order the subs?

one XXX 15" is plenty. two is pretty extreme. and three is just more than the average guy needs.

Well...I would go for three, but I just don't want to buy three and then not have enough room and it not sound right. I want it too get loud enough to win some spl comps, but I don't think 2 is enough. Oh well maybe could win some sq anyways. What would 2 XXX 15"s be comparible to?
