will these subs be able to handle 2300 watts rms @ 1 ohm, or should i go a little bit less? they are rated for 1100 watts rms/sub=2200 watts rms. i want to use teh PA A3000DB, or will this be to much power?

those subs will not under any cirumstances take 2300 rms. They are actually rated 1100 rms / 2200 max..... you might be able to get away with the PA a1800db if you are stuck on a PA amp, but you'll fry it with 2300 rms

2 of them yea. But for the money your gonna spend on the subs get a better sub.

i really doubt audiobahn can even reach there rms watts they claim to be.

how much are you willing to spend? cause theres much better equipment you can invest into for better sounds IMO.

ive owned audiobahn 2 12" abp122t and a a8000t amp. let me tell ya, after hooking up my single 15" kicker l5 and a hifonics brutus 500 watt amp, i never looked back or even thought about it.

IMO, audiobahn = bling bling bass.

I disargree I have had a AUDIOBAHN 15 HIGH EXCURSION sub which is rated at 800watts rms and ran a JBL1200 to it. Never had any problems with it at all. I also had a 15 ULTRA EXCURSION wich is ratted at 1000watts rms and ran a MEMPHIS 1500 watt mono amp to it. I do agree though that alot of the new AUDIOBAHN stuff is garbage. They tried to make everything look cool and chromed out and took away from the quality of the subs in the mean time. Look at the old AUDIOBAHN IMMORTAL the one with the all black cone withe white writting on it that was a good sub now look at the new one a chromed out pice of junk. If I were you I would get 2 AUDIOBAHN 12 inch ULTRA EXCURSION subs sound great and will take that amp with no problem.

I have a pair of aw1200q's High Excurtion on an Orion 1200d and it really kicks. The cheaper ones are crap. I paid $160 for the pair, and everyone around here likes them. Thought about L7's first but im glade I got these.

I dont reccomend running the sub over 1000 watts. I hooked up my friends sub in his car and hes only running 800watts to it and it sounds great. but I think 2000 watts will bottom out the sub
