Audiobahn 8002t Problems

Today, I got a Audiobahn 8002t 2 Channel Amp from a buddy of mine. He said he did not know if it worked or not. I have an alpine amp that runs fine and I moved the wires over to the Audiobahn and triple checked the wires.

The Problem:

I started my truck, and the power light comes on, the amp lights up, and the fan turns on inside of the amp. But there is no sound coming from my subs. I checked the wires again to make sure they were correct, and they were. I checked RCA cables, fuses, EVERYTHING.

Is there anybody who knows anything about these amps?

Is there anyone who has experienced anything like this before?

Found your first problem, it's audiobling. But on a serious note, you were told it might or might not work. Obviously it doesn't work, so something might be wrong internally.

Haha, im an Alpine guy for the most part.

I'm trying to figure out what could be wrong with it, so I could fix it.

My question was basically if anybody else has had this problem with the amp, so I don't have to pull it apart and sit there with a multimeter for an hour trying to solve the problem.

I tested most of the connections with a digital multimeter after hooking it up to a breadboard in my electronics class at my college. I didn't see anything abnormal with it just powered on, I need to figure out a way to give it input signal, to see if the signal is amplified out of the speaker terminals.

If I can figure out a way to get signal into the RCA inputs, and the output of the speaker terminals is 0 or very low, I will trace back through the amp with the multimeter and see where the signal stops at.

Let me know if you need more pictures, (I know these are not very useful, but it sure looks cool).
