Audiobahn 15's vs ?????

IM looking to get an audiobahn aw1508t... has anyone heard one or about them.. or could you recomend something better.. i mean 2000 rms is a lot but does it really sound that great

yea, they sound like poop as does every other audiobahn. look into stuff like fi audio, re, dd, treo, stereo integrity, and so on...

One BTL 18" has reached 170 db's, so that gives you an idea of how loud they CAN get.

However if you're looking for more of an SQL driver, I'm not sure how the BTL sounds.

my homeboy had one aw1508 in a 90's cutlass on a "1600 watt" crunch amp, it ****in wanged for about a week.

Don't go with audiobahn, I had 3 Alum 12Q's that were supposed to be great sq drivers and handle 1000 watts rms, I gave them 300 each and they distorted and sounded like @ss in a small sealed box. If you want something more along the lines of sq, an rl-i, rl-p, or fi audio q are much better choices. i have 2 in my girls car in about 1.2 cuft sealed on a x600.1. they do get loud , and sound OK. theyre also seeing only ~350wrms each, i wouldnt give em more than 500. just get a type argh and call it a day.

No they don't get loud, and they definately don't sound good. But i have robot ears so i can hear things like techno better than all of noobs.

in all honesty audiobahns are good for a enrty level system i had 2 in my car for a while they beat pretty hard but for 210 bucks for 212's and a box and being in high school it mad me happy for a while so if u want a decently loud setup for your first set up and you are on a budget get them

Wrong, you can get type Rs for around 100 bucks apiece, and they wil get wayyyyy louder. The Rs don't sound very nice, but I'd bet they sound better than the 'bahns
