Supposed to be a great amp FOR THE MONEY. Not really a big name brand or huge on quality but not a bad amp, and everyone says does rated and great for the money..

What im thinking is you may not have a correct ohm load to use it. You do realize this is a two channel amp pretty much. Its two ap15001d amps strapped together inside. You can either run it at 1500rms x 2 @ 1 ohm, or 3000rms x1 @ 2 ohms. So if you can get close to a 2 ohm final impediance you will get the most out of it, But its NOT stable at 1 ohm when its running in mono mode.

AP series are not bad amps at all. We put an AP 1800 in an el camino and it doesn't make any unwanting noise and it can bottom out a set of RE SE 12's pretty easy in a slightly large sealed box, not weak at all the APX 3500s are monsters for the money.

Yep it needs 4 d4 subs, 2 d2, 1 d4 or 1 d1 sub to get 3kw out of it.

Do a search there's like 10 x infinity threads on this amp:crap:

yea, otherwise if you ran it at 1ohm, it would really be running at .5 to each amp.
