Audio expert needed!!

So I just bought two brand new Kicker CVR 15's that are on the way and I was trying to decide how much power should the amp(s) I buy have to power both of these babies? I'm gonna be doing a cut-cab with my Sierra and a friend of mine recommended 1500-1600 watts for each sub but I wanted expert opinion...someone please chime in, thanks...

see thats what i was thinking, i was planning on running like 750 watts to each but i wasn't sure...

thats still too much since there RMS are 500 each

i actually just looked up the specs on them and it says run between 100-500 so would running 500 to each from a two channel amp be a good idea?
