Audio control lc2i

I have a 2019 Nissan Altima s with a basic (non bose) 6 speaker factory setup my question is can I use a audio control lc2i (which I currently have one put away. ) to run a 5 channel amplifier for my highs and lows planning on changing out all factory speakers with after market and adding a 10" sub/box ?? Reason im asking I waz at a local car audio shop guy said I couldn't run the lc2i cause it would be a poor signal issue but needed the lc6i that he's trying to sell me @ $299 fyi but just seen on eBay for $117 lol just not trying to spend the xtra cash $$$ if I don't have too

It will work just fine. Most amps have the option of using just two signal inputs. The amp will split it into all it's channels. Best way to find out is to run it.
