Audio amp problems. Help please

Hey guys im having some issues with my Audio system, maybe im missing something fairly simple. My head Unit is a sony Xplode CDX-SW200 Drive-S. amplifier is a Kenwood KAC-81050 1000w mono channel amplifier. the amp is connected to 2 PowerBass 250W-500w max 12's in a ported box(i do not know the tuning of the ported box) my head unit did come on, but after i connected my amps remote turn on wire. nothing came on. no head unit no amp no audio period... Check all your fuses and make sure everything is wired right and all connections are secure.

i have checked, double checked, and even triple checked all connections and components. all the fuses were good but replaced them anyway. still nothing is happening.
