Audible difference in these ported box designs? Pros and cons?

Keeps it really real.
My question is, would these two different box designs sound any different or would they sound the same. I am getting ready to build my box and was trying to figure out the best way to do this. Sorry about the rough sketch....

There shouldnt be a difference at all. I had pretty much the same setup as Design #2 (check my gallery). The only advantage to #1 is that if a sub blew (shouldnt at all) you could run 2 subs in one chamber and still have it tuned correctly...
