Audi TT or Nissan 350z

In that case wait it out and get the gtr.... that thing will tear any other car named in this thread up. but if 90k is out of budget you could also consider an 08 evo which will tear anything up in a turn and still be fun in a straight line. Also consider a bmw 330xi... very fun to drive and they look great
STI is faster than EVO X. Also corners better... If you don't dig the hatchback then go with the EVO. If thats your prerogative.

Nope sti is faster in a straight line, but the evo will dominate it in a turn. evo has .99g on the skid pad while sti is at like .94g... still impressive, but the evo with sawc system is meant to be thrown around a corner. Also, in a track the evo mr is faster than the gsr and the sti.

I want to get a 350z myself. But a bunch of my friends all have gto's/ camaro ss's. And I don't want to be getting smoked by all of them. So I'm kinda leaning towards a vette. Ever thought about a vette yourself?

The germans make a nice car, I dont like nissian dont like the Z (as if you through a rock you will probably hit one), though I still would take the Z as you look really dumb trying to give the service rep a reach around when your audi goes out of warr. and some thing acts up on the car and you cant afford to fix it.

Umm obviously you don't know what you are talking about. It's audi/porsche/volkswagen and yes they are smart. New innovative technology comes out in a porsche (top line) then moves down to the audi (mid -upper class) and eventually makes its way to vw's (commuter class). This is how many car companies work lexus is a high end toyota, jaguar is high end mercury is mid class and ford is low end. Infinity is a fancier nissan, etc. Car companies use the higher end tech in their expensive cars and as the years go on they move it into their everyday cars.
It's Porsche and VAG. The fact that Porsche is a majority shareholder in Volkswagen does not mean that Porsche technology trickles down the food chain in the same manner as the other companies you mentioned.

Also, for saying audi isn't very smart (basically saying porsche isn't) you need to do some research. They are one of the most innovative companies when it comes to high end cars. The new turbo that porsche is developing will blow away anything on the market. People have always debated turbos vs super charges because a turbo is more efficient (uses waste to create fi) while a super charger has no lag. The new turbo has flanges that rotate making the turbo very small at low rpm's allowing it to spool up very quickly (1500 rpm's) and as it spools the flanges seperate outwards creating a very large turbo at high rpm's which = SPEED! Now you have no turbo and will always be on your cars powerband reguardless of speed/gear/rpms. But yeah, i guess that's not innovative.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Porsche engineers. Not Audi engineers.

Speaking of doing some research, realize that variable geometry turbos are not a new technology. Porsche and Borg Warner came up with a design that allowed them to use them more effectively in gasoline cars by solving heat issues, they did not invent them.

Again, speaking of doing some research, if you did a little yourself you would be able to list off innovations Audi came up with (as in Audi, not Porsche), as their resume isn't unimpressive. However, I was referring to their road cars that in my opinion pale in comparision to the competition.
