ATV riders- Mini ATV help

well next year im moving into a house at school (college) and i like to come back with a funny toy for the house/ apartment each year. This year we have a pretty decent sized backyard and i was thinking of grabbing a Mini ATV....obviously the $300 ones on ebay are complete crap but even the ones seen in this video



seem powerful enough to move some adults around....

are there any decent models out there for under 1k that i could grab. Obviously i dont know much so something easy to maintain would be nice but also something that has some giddy up...

hehehe, i actually used to sell those, they are garbage and not worth fooling with. The 50cc one shown there is a Redcat Meercat 50, there are a ton of variations, the redcat one is the best one ....

For 1k I would imagine you could get something older that will end up being a lot more fun, those look like a blast but would probably get old after a few times.

We sold those for 949 out the door, I cant remember what we paid for them, i think it was like 500 after shipping

http://www.kazuma.com/ is the parent company who makes most of them, there is also a company out of ohio that used to carry them, freedom scooter. But they just sold them and had no parts for them at all.

I don't know much about mini quads but for around $1k you could get a top of the line pit bike and i bet you would have twice as much fun. Imo mini quads are just lame, pit bikes ftw!

nah maybe they have went up in price a bit, i know when i was selling the redcat 50cc ones, people would tell me they saw them online for like 300-500 bucks.
