i agree......drinking IRRESPONSIBLY...yes. aka:driving/public situations while drinking......i deserve to be arrested. if its in a friends house and im staying there.....riding with a designated driver...i dont feel i should be messed with. hell ive got a pic of me and my boy holding up a bottle of goose on myspace....and it will stay there. they have no proof a i drank it. just held it up for the pic.

im not in highschool anymore so what can they do. nothing thats wat im not of age but even when the campus police catch you drinking on campus its just a fine. so if they try to do something they can kiss my fat white ***

thats crazy, People who have been caught drinking AT my school only got a day suspension, at our Staff vs. Student hockey game half the team was drunk, the teachers said we cant do that next year, that was it. Ya and its hard to get caught for something you drank a month ago unless you confess.

i will leave mine up regardless, they can't bust me for a picture of me drinking. no matter what anyone says they simply can't. and if they want to bust me at a party... good ****ing luck, all i have to do is outrun one person and im fine, they get busted. even though its safe to say i can outrun just about anyone at any given party around here.

I dont think any of that shit would hold up in Court. How could you charge someone with "Minor in Possession" For a picture on the internet.

Considering it is pictoral evidence of a minor possessing an item that is a violation of criminal statute(s) I'd say it would likely hold up in court fairly well.

I personally think it's bull too...
Take a rapper for example, they talk about doing drugs and smoking weed...

A music video falls under the same sort of categorization as a movie does in that respect where it is understood that any and all actions portrayed within are no more than the product of someone's imagination rather than factual occurences.

Also pour out hennessy and other stuff in their music videos...

This might be considered by some to be alchohol abuse but it isn't illegal (provided the person with the Hennessy is of age...)

Why not arrest them for probable cause? That's the only thing a picture can show, there's no hard evidence that the alcohol was consumed and not just held up for a picture. That would be hard to prove in court.

If the charge levied is Minor In Possession then the BAC of the individual or even if the drink was consumed or not is immaterial.

I know straight A students that get drunk off their ***** on the weekend. Why should the school give a shit?

Like any other age demographic (and to some extent worse than all others) teens in groups mixed with copious amounts of alchohol generally equate to mischief - sometimes illegal or just plain dangerous (if not both)

Even if they don't do anything but get hammered ~ should they be allowed to break the law just because they didn't hurt anybody? Do the crime, do the time. It really is that simple. No, I'm not claiming to be an angel or anything of the sort - I did some incredibly dumb things as a teen that there's no explanation other than divine intervention that allowed the end results of said dumb things to be as painless as they were.
