Attn: Mma Fans

I give Brock all the credit in the world. I don't think he should have had a title shot yet but that's not his fault. He was the better man against Couture without a doubt.
on that topic.. I just don't think its fair that every other weight class there is like a what.. max of 10 lbs from one fighter to the next...then Heavyweight is what, lik 220-265....?"??? thats not fair at alllllllllllllll.

and what all these boxing fans don't realize, that in the real world.. if there was a boxer that approached an MMA fighter.... most likely the MMA guy is gonna kick the crap outta the fighter because A... he's gonna have a tougher chin right off the bat, because he used to getting hit with a bare fist!!!, and B... there's 20 other elemnts of fighting, ASIDE from boxing

I agree that brock shouldn't have gotten a title fight yet, and us TRUE MMA people will agree, but UFC is really big right now, and its a good marketing scheme from Dana White, BUT just remember, he did air a free PPV of the best fighter in the world last month, so he prolly ate a lot of money doin that, but gained many fans....THEN followed it up with a big WWE celeb

a lot of you guys say "" Ohh UFC is BS because a NEWB like brock can come in and win the title"... are you kidding!!! Lets see a world class wrestler, wrestle this, ""NEWBB" and see how well they do at 40lbs LESS. People that don't know Brock but a WWE wrestler, don;t have a frickin clue of his backround

You just made my point, sting and flair still fought after they shouldn't have been. Same is true for shamrock. that was during the downfall of the organizations.
and lesner is a joke because he was a WWE fighter and transitioned over with little to no training.
Lesnar was 1999 national runner up D1 heavy weight wrestler at Minnesota then won it in 2000 he placed top 2 both years in D1 and was an all american in JUCO before he went to the University of Minnesota....he took a 6 figure contract to go into pro wrestling. He came up the same venue Batista did in some smaller WWE developement org.

im sure he had more training than we know about.just the fact that he never had to use any of it before

he also transitioned to NFL and was amazing. its a shame he was cut. id rather have seen him in football instead of WWE or UFC
very true they said on the all access the other night he did 40 reps with 225 about 6 more than Mario Williams and ran a 4.7 second 40, with a 36 inch vertical, god blessed him with natural abilities that some of us dream of.

Yea since olympic wrestling is so close to mma :p

He was wanted and offered to try out for the Olympic team but went with the money..by the time he made it into WWE he was making 7 figures...how many Olympic wrestlers make 7 figures a year?
so what person of higher training would you compare his wrestling skills to?????????????????? huh?? what's a higher status of training than olympians??..

he's got an EXCELLENT wrestling backround...not to mention that with the combo of being FAST AS HELL and HUUUUGE, give you the ability to take someone down... no matter what lever of BJJ, or JUDO you have...after that, it's all power and a lil training

I agree, but it was Couture's decision to fight at heavyweight.

He has trained for 2 years in MMA besides the 18 years of wrestling. He probably trains at least as hard as anyone in the MMA game now. Where is Coulture's gold medals?

if you're talkin about brock.... I don't think he went into olympian wrestling because of his future in WWE and making millions of dollars....
