OP, I don't see a problem with his parents funding and supporting their son's business.

However I do see a big problem with him taking designs and ideas from Sundown.

I have never dealt with the cat myself so I can't speak from personal experience with him or his company but it does appear that Kevin is dishonest and shady from all the facts I have gathered on all the forums I visit.

Actually, GMC was originally the heavy truck division of General Motors and Chevrolet was the the light truck division. Over the years, the company co-mingled the light and heavy trucks so that dealers who sold Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile or Cadillac could have a truck line without infringing on the Chevrolet dealers' protected sales territory for Chevy trucks.
If you wan't a "luxury" model chevrolet truck you need to buy a Cadillac SUV... GMC and Chevrolet trucks are identical and neither is available with luxury options that the other isn't, as far as I'm aware.

Ok. So I did some research. GMC has a "denali" edition of the duramax. Which is basically a Cadillac in terms of luxary. Chrome/wood trim/sat nav and all that other garbage.

While chevrolet does not have a "denali" edition.

gmc has always been the truck division. back in the day there was an actual physical difference between gmc and chevy, more so than today. gmc trucks are awesome.
