Well, well. Look how you have misinterpreted what I said due to the systemic racism of white people. I never spoke in terms of the government "giving" me a dam thing. I said the goverment is slow to return what is rightfully mine. In case you did not know it, this nation was built upon free labor. That's right -- the sweat of my ancestor's brow. The measely amount the government sends me does not begin to cover the interest on what I am owed.
If you had an ounce of decency you would have come to this conclusion on your own and you would insist on reparations for my people.

Although I do not believe in the direct compensation of the black community, I do think we should grant many more opportunities than we do to benefit the black community. We can never fully repay your ancestors...we can only try to make up for my people's transgressions.

No...Slavery is probably the shittiest thing that can be done to a person, but looking for a handout for what your ancestor's did is shitty. What if my ancestors were millionaires but it was stolen from them. I want my money. All it takes is 1 generation for a family to change -- be that change. Don't try to tell us how we should spend the wages that we, as a people, should have received way back then. No progarms -- we need and deserve cash. I think a conservative estimate would be an annual payment of $43,000 for every black man, woman and child for the next 21 years.
