****... i just put $110 worth of gas in my truck on saturday... if it goes up much more i dont know what i will do. im already doing about $200+ in gas a week.

I get 25 mpg if I'm lucky though, time to switch back to the Porsche and get 26-30.

my ap economics teacher told us this year that gas prices are delayed about 2-3 weeks from things that happen in the middle east. like when nigeria was having trouble and revolting against the oil companies, a couple weeks later the gas prices jumped like 20 cents. now, with the trouble in israel/lebanon, about 2 weeks after it starts we see this. i think it has to do with shipping it over here and refining it etc, but still, either way, it sucks.

this actually makes me feel about 24 times better about not having my 4runner at college next year.

I think its total crap that the gas prices may rise by almost a dollar when we probably don't even get a third of our gas from that oil place in alaska. I'm not sure how much we get from where, but I'm sure it wouldn't directly make gas rise really rise by a third.

That wouldn't be a bad idea.... I may just get a used motorbike on ebay, my friend bought one yesterday for 100 dollars. It goes 35mph and gets 45mpg, which would be perfect for being on campus.

Probably going to be driving back to VA tomorrow, going to hurt on the way up. $2.99 here, usually is ten to 15 cents cheaper in B'burg though.
