I have an MTX Thunder 280 and I was driving around for a good half hour and my sub stopped movin. I was bumpin it pretty hard (I just realized there is a gain knob on this amp lol) and the amp nearly burnt my hand when I touched it. The sub came on after a few minutes, but I am wondering if I did any damage to the amp? I'm lettin it cool off right now and I'm scared to test it out.

dont think you did any damage to the amp, but i'd be careful because if you are constantly over heating your amp it might fry the capacitors inside or the power supply
