AT&T U-Verse: Anyone thinking about making the switch??

Sorry if this is a re post.

Saw this again, and it keeps looking better every time i see it.. I have Direct TV HD w dvr now and im thinking this is going to in time have better quality, and be cheaper in the long run.. Looks very impressive , With Great DVR service and Fast Internet speeds

I have it currently and I like it a lot. But this is coming from comcast, and their boxes are crap comparitively. I got the 10mb/1.5mb and I'm getting close to 12mb down. More than fast enough. The IPTV box is pretty good, everything is pretty quick compared to comcast and other satellite.

Its a very cool setup cable wise, but a friend who has U-Verse said that the internet drops completely for about an hour every week randomly.

Checked into it 2 nights ago, but its not available in my part of California.

They do offer another combo, one that combines 200 channels of Dish Network with the DVR, unlimited phone, and DSL for $99 per month.

yea its all still pretty new and there working the bugs out and locations that can acyually get it are pretty small yet.. i believe if your area has 3g on ATT phones then you can get it, But thats like a few hundred cities iirc
