there isnt anyway to wire the assassin to get the 400 rms is there?

Not with one. You would need a second sub to run at 2 ohm.

you think so? about how much power you think it would be getting? i may run the assassin for a lil while then sell it for something new to run at 2 ohm

but its just for my g.fs car lol.

First off the MTX site says it makes:

1 x 125W @ 4 ohm

1 x 250W @ 2 ohm

So you are not going to push 400W either way. 125W is not much boom unless it is in a bandpass box.

i'd give that amp 400 @ 2ohms. they are under rated amps.

but you'll need a 2nd sub, or bigger amp

seems the opinions on this sub and amp together are going both ways anyone wanna give me some closure on if this amp will push this sub like the sub needs?
