ASPM-1300 disappeared? from ebay?

ive done the ap mb quart switch a couple of times myself, i have to say i have never been impressed with ap's stuff, it can make power (not what it says it will) but they just feel and look cheap, a lot worse than some of the other budget amps.

yep
the brz line isnt the best for 2 ohms but it would do 6-700 without issues
And thats all I need. No more than 700 watts RMS, 350 per sub. I decided to go with the Brutus amp. Nowwww how do I get rid of this ASPM-1300 I bought :p

I removed it because I thought it was a different model but the OP was just mistaken.
went thrrough the whole thread saw no o-scope or dmm just a clamp.

like i said they are great for the price but not 1k . and the power it takes to make the max they put out is rediculous. but people who have never owned any better will never tell a diffrence . so have at it

return it
I think I'm going to keep the 1300 until I do have my system. I'll see if it strains my cars lights. If my car can handle it, I keep it, if it doesn't I sell. I've decided to test myself instead of taking words from other people, and I mean that I can really find out, in my scenario.

no doubt but you really have no experience in what quality/crap is. no offense to you at all gotta start somewhere. but if you knew AP wouldnt even be in your mind. i bought 2 to prove a point. and boy they did lol

Just run whatever you can afford/want to spend. If it doesnt work, or you notice a large voltage drop, take it out and buy something different. You wont lose much selling new in the plastic and new without plastic, with an hours use.

Over the years, on the internet, Iv noticed you always run into people on all subjects (not pointing fingers) saying "this one is better than that one" on just about every subject. Sometimes they are right by far, sometimes they are right, but just enough to be called more right than wrong, as well as sometimes they are dead wrong.

So, basically: At the end of the day, its your wallet, and you have the keys in your pocket. Do what YOU want to.

I have not changed my mind on a 1300 yet...but I dont know anything.

yes but you have to understand. most of us have been in the same position as you guys. and i know i have. i bought an ap1500 even AFTER i knew they were junk just to test it myself. and i must say. i would rather have nothing at all than AP. the 2 i had were un reliable as hell clipped easy and were inefficient. all we are doing is providing you with knowledge to make the right decision.

If they can afford to sell a "1500" watt amp for $125 SHIPPED.......you know it must be packed with all kinds of quality. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Take a good SQ sub/install and run an AP amp and a quality amp in A/B comparison.....I guarantee you can hear a difference and if you can't, you must be deaf. I've heard a few AP installs myself and they just sound muddy and don't have the authority that clean power does.
