ASPM-1300 disappeared? from ebay?

im pretty sure that you are new in car audio. let me welcome you by saying this.
you will never see a clean 600 out of that amp. their quality falls in the lines of sony, dual and jensen. there are plenty better amps out there you just have to widen your search. look used.
They do 550ish watts clean. I knew that coming in. 550 watts for $95 vs 600 for $160, I think I can live with the wattage vs price difference //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

so you have tested them with an o-scope and clamp?

nice. because i know at 1 ohm they do 750. there is a clamp thread here about it

my old 1500 did 1200 clean @ 1 ohm. and thats with solid electrical. and hell. they **** current anyway so what are you going to do for a battery up front?

its not worth running amps when the electrical out weighs what the amp does

I have a stock 18 year old 80 amp 12v alternator, stock wiring and a **** walmart battery. Even if it did run at 600 watts clean I don't think I would be worried, and its at 550 clean so I really dont think I should be worried..

He is trying to tell you that your electrical isn't good enough. With that amp you are going to get major light dim, and you are probably looking at MAYBE a clean 400 watts not 550.

Lol i was wondering when the jelly audiopipe haters would chime in
brad get a grip. ive used them. clamped mine and a buddies. they both did the same ol crap. the price is great for power. but they are so inefficient it really doesnt make it worth buying

Its a little more than $50 more ($170 on sonic) but I would recommend the BA GTA-500 for him.
buy it used

Cool. I dont know much about budget sub amps. That's good to know. Thanks.
yeah ive tried all budget stuff. and i hate to say they are mostly the same. but there are certain ones that win/lose

AP has always been that one brand like sony xplod.
