Never ran an AP amp but, I do know a clipped signal is VERY bad on any speaker. While many will set their system up with a o-scope and dmm, there are far more that won't. Those are the consumers who either aren't bothered by alittle dirty power or don't know what it is.

Again, don't have a dog in this fight but, to those throwing around the word "nuthugger"; doesn't pushing the AP brand also make you a nuthugger? Don't get mad, just pointing out the irony.

even the clean power these ap amps make you cant find any amp for the price and thats what make's it a ok amp. yea there are a **** load better amps for more money. i keep reading spend the extra 40-50 and get a better amp some people dont hae that extra 40-50 to spend so give it a ******* break.when you find an amp that put's out what the ap amp's put out for the price than people will buy it .95% of people out there wont no if you have a sundown or a pyle for an amp

Its been said time and time again. If you cant pay to play GTFO. Car audio is not a cheap hobby and shouldnt be considered as such.

There are plenty of amps that put out what the AP does for around the same price. You just need to look around. Its not hard to find a clean 600-700@2 amp. Case and point:

FWIW Pyle will never sound even half as good as Sundown. If you truly believe that then you should probably quit posting in the tech sections as well.

so you have tested them with an o-scope and clamp?nice. because i know at 1 ohm they do 750. there is a clamp thread here about it

my old 1500 did 1200 clean @ 1 ohm. and thats with solid electrical. and hell. they **** current anyway so what are you going to do for a battery up front?

I've seen your electrical and videos and you're definatly not at a solid 14.4v which is what they do rated at, they might not do rated cleanly but they **** sure do near rated, the SoundStream Rubicon is a hungry mofo too that doesnt even do rated @ 14.4v yet everyone still runs them and pays more for them than Audiopipe. Bottom line is we all know AP is a bargain brand but they deserve more credit for what they are theres nothing really better in the price range of under $200 that does the same power sure for $180 the MB Quart but I really don't think that amplifier is that much better.
