It does 800-1000 without clipping, but thats it. Distorts slightly on low notes

theres nothing really better in the price range of under $200 that does the same power sure for $180 the MB Quart but I really don't think that amplifier is that much better.

I would buy something used before I bought an Audiopipe.

PG from a few years back, JBL, Cadence A7+HCs, etc...

I've seen your electrical and videos and you're definatly not at a solid 14.4v which is what they do rated at, they might not do rated cleanly but they **** sure do near rated, the SoundStream Rubicon is a hungry mofo too that doesnt even do rated @ 14.4v yet everyone still runs them and pays more for them than Audiopipe. Bottom line is we all know AP is a bargain brand but they deserve more credit for what they are theres nothing really better in the price range of under $200 that does the same power sure for $180 the MB Quart but I really don't think that amplifier is that much better.

I just unhooked my apsm-1300, and wired up an Opti500x2 (1400rms) and the difference is night and day. I assumed my distortion I was getting on low notes was due to sub par woofers, that was not the case. The output is about the same, but deeper. The AP does power, its just dirty cheap power. It takes a man to say this, but MisterDeadEye is right...

I think as long as I do 600 watts RMS at 2 ohms this amp will be just fine. And if not, I'll sell and get that Cadence amp. Its whatever. I still think that the ASPM will do just fine in my scenario
