Asking price for Alpine iva-d300

Not sure where else to post this, since I'm not selling it yet...

I bought an Alpine iva-d300 last November from Crutchfield. Recently it's started acting funny and the screen won't slide out properly. I'm calling Alpine tomorrow to send it in for repair. I'm assuming Alpine will fix it for free since it's still under warranty. Since it's getting repaired it will be practically brand new. After I get it back I'll sell it to buy the D310 unit ($800 Brand New //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif ). I'm trying to think of a reasonable asking price for the unit. I see most go for about $700 or so on e-bay and would likely put the brand new wires from the 310 with the 300 since the wires are ran in my car already and they're compatible with either unit. So, basically it'll be a good-as-new D300 unit. Any suggestions?

I'm really hoping that Alpine will actually just let me upgrade to the 310 unit for a little extra $, but I seeeeeriously doubt that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Update: Alpine is fixing the unit for free. As long as the 310 is in stock at the store who has it on sale, I WILL be selling the 300 when I get it back from Alpine if the price is right. I'll post in the Classifieds then.

What are the main differences between the 300 and 310?

To me, the main difference is the aesthetics. The 310 is black, while the 300 is metallic grey. I personally just like the black. The 310 also has a display when you close the screen, but it's so small it's not really worth mentioning IMO. I would be fine with what I have, except my interior has a lot of black and I think it would look better. Plus, $800 brand new for the 310 is unbelievable. I'm just hoping they have it in stock still. I have half a mind to buy it and keep it in the box until I get mine sold. That way if I don't make enough off my 300 I can just take the 310 back.

Will do. Check the classifieds starting next week. It'll likely have brand new wiring (from the 310- I'll use the 300's wiring sine they're the same). I'll post here first, then e-bay if I don't have some hits.
