asking monoblock or 4 channel amp

Dear all member,

I would like to ask about your opinion about i would

Like adding monoblock to power up 1pcs of subwoofer hx300 single coil rms600watts,

Currently instaled are :

Hu pioneer avx 1650

1 unit split speaker 6 inch

1 unit coaxial 6 inch ,

Due i hear there is no good bass and i think i like to add

1 pioneer monoblock gmd8601, 300watts @4ohm

Is it ok or will be ridiculous ?

My friend told me that better i,m using 4channel power amp but i think it will not necesary due the split speaker allready powered by head unit ? Please advise..thanks..

get an actual monoblock for subwoofers and keep your mids and highs amps powering your mids and highs. Sound would be a lot better. However, you' need 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Get a stronger amp that does 600 or more at 4 ohms.
