Ascendant Audio Mayhem VS. FI BTL

hey I either looking at getting a fully loaded Fi BTL 18 or a local shop has a mayhem 18 with box for $750. what would be the better buy. With the fi i would have to pay to have a box made dude to my lack of building skills.

box specs will have to wait until tomorrow when they open. As far as loudness its not a hug deal to me. Im not going to be doing comps I just want a beast of a street pounder. so really what i was asking was what would be the better deal. the mayhem already in box or get a FI (which i think there is one in the classifieds for 370) and just have a box made.

someone can carpet and build abox for less than 400 if that's what your asking... A good ported box from a shop new shouldnt' be more than a few hundred in most cases.

I've owned both and preferred the Mayhem. I wouldn't pay $750 for it though (of course including a box doesn't mean anything to me...lol)

I will say that my BTL was the older version though, so maybe theres a difference with the single slug version.

Both were very good subs for groundpounder daily setups.
