Ascendant Audio Build log!

Well..strange turn of events. Upon consulting 5 different interior shops i've came to the conclusion that I refuse to pay close to 500 dollars (if not more) for 2 seats to be recovered in nothing more then simple black cloth.
Today's purchase and my next trade i'll teach myself is the art of upholstery...introducing the latest tool in the shed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif..time to start learning.

A little Q Lazzarus for the background music and you could call your self Buffalo Bill:laugh:

lol you could just buy seat covers, I'm sure they make some plain black ones, for a nissan PU
After he has gone to the trouble of rebuilding the dash. If nick would cop out and use seat covers. I would probably have to kick him in the nuts myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif But knowing Nick, you know as well as I that seat covers didn't stand a chance from the beginning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Pretty much..

I just don't see it, and I can't find any cheaper around here.

So, a new art I shall learn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The Havocs?

Heh..i'm not going to be running the Havocs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif...got some cool stuff for the sub

Everything else you see is going to be going in there, waiting for the batteries to get here then i'll start welding up the battery rack out of angle iron.

Nick...after your done with your seat covers....can you sew me a pair of gloves??? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its not really that hard from watching my upholstery guy. just cut apart the old seat at the seams, trace it on the new fabric, and sew them back together.

if u have to make a new cover from scratch is where it gets tricky

edit- dont cut the old one apart by the fabric, just the stitching, so it comes apart then trace those on the new material
