Ascendant Audio Build log!

Doesn't look like much was done today..but a ton of wiring and fixing stuff. Corner lights replaced with amber bulbs to pass inspection, switch is bad in the column which is causing one of the low beams to go in and out randomly...

You can see the rats nest of wire underneath the dash, continuing to figure out whats going where...hopefully i'll get it all sorted out tomorrow, sorry for not many pics today.

Rust inhibitor paint that i'm going to put on the inside of the bed area tomorrow..just in case it decides to leak later on down the road this will not let rust form.

How it sits until tomorrow, inside of the bed will get painted with the por 15, dent in the hood hammered out, and the hole in the passenger door welded up and flushed in as good as i can without having primer..

More pics to come tomorrow!

POR 15 ROCKS! I did the underside/inner fenders wheel wells of the cars in that stuff (as they are all rust free and I wanted to keep them that way). It also looks really nice whe you see in the wheel wells and the underside is that semi gloss black, easer to clean to, dirt and grime doesnt stick for chit on POR15

Follow the directions and remember cleanliness is godlessness and you should get awesome results.

If you take the paint off clean it REALLY well and use that metal etch (or just go buy some phosphoric acid).

Everything is blocked down now but i didnt take a pic of the door and awaiting for when i can go pickup a can of good primer, the hood has to be painted due to the rock chips in it...

Nah, somebody tried to break into it when it's home was Nashville..they stretched a good 3" of the metal around the lock..had no choice but to weld a new patch in it.
