as far as my political affiliation, i guess most would consider me a republican. mostly, i just hate liberals. i even agree with parts of their social leanings. ie: legalizing pot, questioning authority (to a point), i don't care about gays and their rights at all. it wouldn't upset me if they could get married. mostly because i don't care. i'm atheist. i have alot of liberal social leanings, but liberals have an inherent way of being whiney, cry baby, un-compromising, idealistic, no common sense having idiots. which according to them, makes me a right winger.

I dunno man. I see a lot of those traits in conservatives, too. I think it is a description belonging to anyone without the capacity for rational thought.

Ideally, i think government is definitely necessary (at least) to establish an economic common ground.

The painfully apparent greed inherent in all people ultimately leads to the destruction of men. Government simply serves as a force

to attempt reversing the process. Alas, usually the manifestation of this purpose is minimal at best.

So you have that it's necessary, but who do you pick? well as already mentioned, if one single purpose or agenda is allowed

to retain power for too long the country fails. So democrats actually NEED republicans and vica-versa to maintain a steady economy

by offsetting political policies.

I am registered democrat, but I would not think twice about voting Republican. I am very centrist. I guess I have a spot of misanthropy as I hate both sides equally.

Well, before you start asking philosophical questions of how a country should be a run, take a step back to Hobbes: does a country require running? What is the necessity of the state?
