My view on the bush administration is that they focused on the wrong country. Sadaam was nothing but empty threats, not saying that he wouldn't have fufilled one of them in the future, he hadn't at the time we invaded for the second time. Now take Iran, They flat out said that they will continue their uranium enrichment efforts, in defiance of several of of the worlds powers requests to curb its nuclear program, and said it will no longer comply with voluntary measures designed to enhance international inspectors' access to its nuclear facilities. Then we have North Korea, they say that they are going to test nuclear weapons, the US along with the Un say no, they do it anyway. Those would be two of the countries I would be more concerned about.

This is going to happen sooner rather than later. If you haven't been keeping up with the news, we've already amassed a fleet in the Persian Gulf ready to rain missiles down on Iran, taking out its dams, power stations, water treatment plants, industrial estates, communication systems, and any military targets. No oil or gas installations will be bombed for obvious reasons.

Now if you're smart you'll buy Gold. Again, if you've been following the price of gold over the past 3-4 years it has been STEADILY rising (it's currently ~$760/oz.): Wall Street speculation on the impeding war. When it all goes down, it's estimated the The Dow Jones will crash below 4,000 and the dollar will lose half its value. Gold will skyrocket above $2,000 an once.

As far as any draft is concerned, I dont think it'll happen. Too much of a liability IMO.The only time ill do anything is if the fight comes home, to hell with their rules of engagement as well.

Israel has more to worry about a nuclear Iran that we do, so let them handle it.

The president of iran is crazy(perhaps, but its not our business), not to mention putin is a crazy bastard as well. both leaders publicly have made threatening remarks (defensive, you'd be a bit pissed off & worried about the US knockin at your door too if you were in their shoes). especially Putin when it came to the missile defense network in Europe. do you blame him? lol

3. iran is known for funding terrorists. just like Saddam and iraq were.

Who created Saddam again? and Osama? pot calling the kettle black.

4. if we attack iran it won't just be us. it may be mainly us. but it would be coalition forces as usual. If you mean 97% us and the rest a small mix of others, you're right. You should also understand it wont just be Iran hitting back

5. if we stop kinda acting like the worlds police i think its safe to say countries will be complaining that the world's super power should be involved.thats why all this shit started in the 1st place, that and the US wants to control the distribution of oil & wealth

oh and to that last question of yours. personally I would be willing to take a bullet. especially if it helps make our world a better place

This thread = overstatement of the year... nobody would fight for Iran... Russia would forget them in a sec if we would pull our support for the missle defense system and send a few large oil contracts there way.
