Actually he indicated that he tried and failed to learn the proper way to spell it. Its xmas, lets give him the benefit of the doubt, its a complicated word and there really are no resources available to look up how to spell specific words. Or at least, they are extremely hard to find. Who would ever think to try something like http://www.dictionary.com ?
