Are you affraid of Snakes?

if he is scared of him then you should put the snake on him when he is sleeping and then wake him up gently and be like "dont move i kno i told you he is harmless, but he is the 4th most deadly snake in the nothern hemisphere."

then see how much he likes ur snake

I had a 5 ft ball python for several years, sold it before coming to college because pets (other than non-dangerous fish are not allowed). It was tame, easy to handle, and was generally a good pet.

holy **** thats a nice sized spider....how tame was it?

It was mean as **** lol. Wouldnt really bite but would flick hairs like a mother****er, which IMO is a lot worse. Bite = some pain and swelling for a couple hours, hairs = constant itching for over a week straight, no matter what you do to try and get them off....

****.........ya that's one thing about spiders i dont like...rarely do you ever get tame big spiders. at least snakes have the brain capacity to recognize smells and get used to being handled thus becoming tame. i cant trust a spider....****ers are always up to no good

I have about 50 snakes, including babies, adults, and some sub adults.

I have been keeping them since i was around 10.

Collection includes Ball Pythons, Red tail boas, corn snakes, blood pythons, olive pythons, burmese pythons, a reticulated python and a few other types.

Dont really care much for them, I dont find myself afraid around them though. I would however be cautious, but thats about it. Im just as cautious around dogs & cats. Ive seen some stupid animals in my day.

An old acquittance used to have a 9ft long snake (cant remember what kind, it was albino looking though) never really concerned me much. It was very tame & just hung out in the background.

I lived in Arizona for a while and tarantulas have a knack for getting into houses. Waking up in the middle of the night to take a piss and then seeing a big *** tarantula when you flip on the light sucks. I know they aren't harmful really, but they sure do look mean as hell.

hehe true i hate spiders but love snakes.

my dad's family is from honduras, and when i was a kid i went with my parents down there...

anyways on my grandfather's farm i found a tarantula, killed it with a stick in it's back and then put it in a plastic bag that milk is sold in to drink and my grandfather and i gave it to my grandmother laughing our a$$es off as she flipped shIt.

i don't mind them really, but i wouldn't ever own one.
I'm not really crazy about holding them or draping them around my neck, but I'm not like afraid to do it.
