I have 2 15" Kicker squares(2 Ohm DVC) on a mono 1000 Alpine, a little bit underpowered. I was thinking about buying another amp to go with them then I checked out the wiring diagrams this is how it is now:

So I was going to run 1 off the mono amp I have and buy another mono, but I noticed in this diagram

Its a 4 Ohm load, and my 1000 Watt Alpine only gets 600Watts off 4 Ohm, so thats barley an upgrade? But my main question is, for knowledge, why is it there is more resistance with 1 sub then there is when I have 2? Or are these diagrams incorrect?
