Are there good 8" SQ Woofers?

Been looking around and haven't found much. I will most likely have to go up to a 10 but I am wondering if people have heard anything good that they would recommend. My research and searching hasn't shown too much. Heard a good thing or two about the CDT line but the 8" is like 380 or something like that and is far too pricey to me.

I just have a small space to use in a small car and I really don't need that much output. Just some quality lows.

Thanks

Chris

check out the CMass SS82, it's a 2ohm driver. I have them and they are amazing. Retail is $199. I don't even use the 12's when listening daily. You will need about 300+ watts though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I have mine in about .3 cu. sealed by the way

Yeah right now I have 250 watts but I would be willing to get a better amp is I found an 8 that fit the bill.

Budget for sub would be like 200-250 tops.

For now if I can't find an 8 I'll go for a IDQ10...I think heh.

I really only looking into getting 1 8". Don't plan on more than that.

The mount space is not small enough where I require a shallow mount. I'd rather not sacrifice any quality for that much space reduction, but I am just assuming there would be some.

I heard the first run of JL 6's arn't nearly as good as the v2/v3 breed in terms of SQ, but I could be mistaken.

Kicker L7 8" if sealed can take plenty of power and sound great.

Jl 8" w7 my brother is running this is a n extra cab tacoma, it fills the bottom end, plenty for most people.

Image dynamics makes a 8" ID woofer.

KIcker CVR comes in an 8" gets good reviews ( on larger sizes) and would work with the power you already have.
