Are Refurbs Reliable?

my old zx750.1 was a refurb and is still running to this day also my L7's are refurbs and i'm running them pretty hard and haven't had a problem with them at all

Well, the thing with refurbished circuit boards is the re-usage of old parts from something that already blew. So, not everything on the board is new.
So the parts either work or they don't. So if they're not bad when the amp blows, they'll be fine.

Ther is usually an underlying reason when something electrical goes out and needs to be refurbished.
This problem is not always diagnosed.

There are some sick deals in the classifieds right now..I think $400 for a Sundown 3000

They need refurbished because amps are damaged by vibration, a factory screw up (say you bought an amp brand new and it blew up) or user error.

The 3000 watt amp is my PowerBass for my $400. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
