are 'oz' comps worth it?

What do they cost these days? I know they have a new version out but I have not seen where they are actually being sold. I know that one site had the older version for about $300 -- but I am farily certain that is unauthorized.

There is a good reveiw of the Pioneer PRS on diymobileaudio.com stating that they are better than OZ.
yeah, and in that same thread some say that the passive crossover is the weak spot and some b!tch about the tweeters being too harsh. Not flaming you Gary, I know there are weaknesses with most things. And I have to say the bulk of those reviews look pretty dam good and that set is certainly tempting (especially at the price). But the comments about the crossovers and the tweets Have chilled my eagerness to give them a try.

Oh, and I am talking about the PRS. I have not seen any reviews on the the new Oz.

- I hear you... I think it's the midbass driver that caries the PRS set. I don't feel the crossover and tweeter are anything special.

I don't say it's the best at it's price point, only that it might be in my top 5 choices at the street price. But the OZ is also more expensive. Personally, I'd go for the new PPI 356CS at the same price... the crossover is built by a guy who writes speaker software programs and is one of the best consultants in the business.
