are my amps powerful enough?

hi i am planning on using a Sony 500w amplifier to power the front and rear speakers, and a Boss 400w amp to power a pioneer 700w 10 inch subwoofer..

the head unit im planning on using is a pioneer DEH 8600MP (50w per ch)

Please tell me if the amps im using will be sufficient to power the subwoofer.

here are the specifications...

or 100w x 2 + 250 x 1 (at 4 ohm) bridged

from the look of your sig, you're gonna send 85watts rms to your pioneer sub.

Looks to me like the sony amp will run the speakers (100x2) and the sub (that's the 250x1). I wouldn't trust those ratings, but I wouldn't trust the boss ratings either. So in turn, you're going to be powering your sub with less power than you could get from one amp, with a second?

run the sub and ur fronts off of the sony, and run the rears off of the boss

yuh id do what moe suggested or sell your amps and get an mtx 5 channel

yep thats one of the solutions i thought of, (having the sony bridged at 250w to run the subwoofer) .

The seller told me that the sub can only work at about 350w RMS max, so do you think that the sub would run reasonably well with the sony amp bridged?

It will run fine off the sony.
