Are DD's really worth the $$$$

Nobody seems to be worried about the sub being used with extreme power??....thats my only worry...besides being too loud for me...haha jk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

im not up all on what DD does with subs and all, but i do know they were starting to ship recones again for DIY people.....since there will always be a market for someone who sends in a sub for a recone as much as someone who does it themselves. I mean, hell i know people who own DD subs that arent even sure what a spider is, so im sure they'll one day send it into someone.

Many complaints about DD is that they don't have good low end and they're way too punchy...etc. Most people don't properly break in the DD subs. Most DD subs come with the standard 5 spider config. A standard break-in period for a DD sub is about 1 month....then will the sub become what it was meant for. Some don't even use the sub for a week before selling it.

DD uses the best parts out of every company I've seen. Their coil doesn't fatigue anywhere close to most subs. The 8 or 10 gauge run tinsel is awesome. I've had many customers with broken tinsel leads. They indeed are over built subs. For Street Bass...I can honestly say they're one of the best subs you can ever get.

agreed. I was SHOCKED when mine broke in after a show. There is a noticable difference after break-in.

DD's rock! My friend got his in today, he sent it in to get repaired/upgraded to a 2512a. He's playing it smart and not gonna blare it for a while, I told him it would **** to f it up within a week of getting it :p. But as for hitting hard, yes they do. This 2510 I'm selling hits very hard, and with them being in OK(oklahoma) I can get them very easy, very cool people also, call them and they'll tell you everything you need to know. Hand made rules...
