Are components worth it?

I am completely upgrading my new to me 92 f150. The first thing I was looking to upgrade was all for door speakers. If my truck is running the stereo is cranked up. My question is do component speakers sound that much better than coaxial (especially at a high volume) to justify the price? If they are which brands should I be looking at? My budget for speakers is about 200-250

Comps will give you the best frequency response and will be noticeably better. Brands to look at are Morel, CDT, Rainbow and Hybrid Audio Technologies...
