Are BATCAPS Worth it?

i have a guy selling 2 batcap 400's for 120 alltogether....was wondering how good these were at keeping voltage and can u run 2? any help will be appreciated

i like mine and I was told my Batcap 2000 can handle a cherging voltage of 16volts, so I can crank up my H/O alt to 16volts during my runs and not have to worry about battery failure. I have one alt installed at 300 amps. adjustable voltage regulator. and a second alt waiting to be installed.

Batcap 2000 have a resting voltage of 13v. I am running 2 batcaps. Just do series and you should be fine. What is your goal with your system?

just a daily beater....running at or around 1500 rms but i want to keep it constant....how would u hook up 2 tho? the same as 2 batts?

yea, they are just batteries. If you want, I have a bettery isolator reelay I can sell. This will keep your primary battery from draining. Actually, I have two. You can use them to keep the car system isolated. How many batteries do you have total. 2 400batcaps and a battery under the hood?

i have a 500 amp stinger isolator bnib also.. the 8400 hundreds are worth it.. i dont know about the others

OP the 400 is nothing crazy, but for your application I'm sure they would help out. No harm in trying them, and the price is fairly cheap as well.
