Are bass blockers necessary/recommended for my speakers?

My new system is on the way, and was wondering if I needed to pick up some bass blockers.

Going to be installing two 6.5" coax's and two 5x7" coax's into my car, in addition to the subs. Do I need to install bass blockers on those speakers or not? It's only going to be powered by a JVC KD-X40 HU.

Thanks in advance.

use the x-over in the hu set it at 80hz or better, I didn't look it up but I would think it has x-over settings. bass blockers are just non-polarized electrolytic capacitors the same thing thats soldered on the co-ax before the tweeter

Oh ok, so completely unnecessary. Thanks!

Reading on reviews for Bass Blockers on places like Crutchfield, they say that it helps speakers being powered by the head unit in terms of clarity and less distortion at higher volumes. Are you guys positive I shouldn't get them?
