Are Audiobahn AW1200Q's any good?

If those are the same 'Bahns I'm thinking about (about 700 watts rms), then they do fairly well in large ported boxes, but they do not handle their rated rms. Instead of 700 rms, feed them 400-500 rms at the most and they will be fine.

thats not true about the rms. i know someone who ran a little over the rms on 2 aw1200x audiobahns(2001 model of the aw1200q). they sounded great! think he was running 800 rms to each of them.

Probably the exception, not the rule. I can't really say for 100% sure, because I never actually used them in my car or anything. What amp was he running anyway?

FYI.. These are not a Car shaking sub.. But these will give you some pretty nice bass in almost any vehicle that has nothing at all. Best placed...
