Hey guys, i need your help once again. I'm looking into getting the Arc Audio Amp around 1600x1 stable at 1 ohms, Yes i know on AmpMan.com you can get them but i heard there going out of business so i dont want to mess with that. Does anyone know anywhere else that i could possibly get the amp from? Any help will be greatly appreicated.

There isn't a 1ohm stable Arc Audio amp.

go with a 2 channel amp that is 2ohm stable per channel then. im not too familiar with the arc products but im sure mark is.

edit~are you going with the quad 1 ohm coils with the xxx? or what other voice coil configs do they come in? b/c a quad1 could be wired to 2ohms 2 times i am guessin? kind of like 2 dual 1s...

quad 1 ohm coils can be wired to .25, 1 and 4 ohms...

Mark what kind of amp is that Arc Audio 1500D-R in your signature? Is that a 1500 watt amp or just model number?

Get a 1500D-R, or 2500CXL. The former will put out an underrated 900W @ 4ohm, the latter will push a very underrated 1050 into 4ohm.

but isnt that when it is run with a single channel amp? i was thinking along the lines of treating the sub as 2 dual 1ohm voice coil subs...if you get what im saying. that way you could use 1 channel for 2 coils.

I was thinking..... would the 4000x (2500x1@1ohm stable) blow the shit out of my XXX, since the rms is 1600watts? Will it power it to much? Should i just stick to the 1500DR. Also is the 1500DR Stackable?

Well forget the **** aRc Audio amps lol 799 for the 1500DR and 1999 for the 4000x, i dont have the money for an amp like that lol. So basically i better start looking other places. Wishes RE would make more 35d1s lol. Or BA make there amps.

What Do people think about the PHD2's? Any good? I heard they blow alot...
