Here is my current setup:
HU: Alpine 9847 (soon to be upgraded)
Front: Rainbow SLC 265 Comps
Rear: Stock Coax's
Sub: Arc 12D
Amp: Arc 4150-XXK
I got my system recently setup and tuned professionally. The front and sub is powered by the amp while the stock in the rear is running off the HU. I checked the settings on the amp and compared it to the manual and found some discrepancies. I want to run it by you folks and see what you guys think.
- Rear Source Select = 4 CH (manual says to set to 2 CH?)
- Bass Boost = 0db
- Rear = Stereo
- Front = Bridged
- Front Frequency = 65hz, 12dB
- Rear Frequency = 95hz, Freq Range = X 10
How does this setup look?
I also traced the speaker wires coming from the amp. According to the diagram, it should connect to the crossovers of the comps. It looks like the wires go straight from the amp to the front of the vehicle and behind the HU. Its not directly plugged into the HU but to an adapter (forgot the term) with the rest of the wires which is then plugged to the back of the HU. Should this be a concern or is this normal?
